Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil opened on Monday 7/11/2016 Kuwaiti Week exhibition held in Cairo under the rubric “Kuwait is in Egypt.”
Kuwait's Ambassador in Cairo Mohamed Saleh, a number of ambassadors and arts, culture and media figures were present at the opening ceremony.
More than 60 Kuwaiti and Egyptian bodies from the public and private sectors along with a number of Kuwaiti-Egyptian companies and media outlets are taking part in the event.
The Minister inspected the pavilions of the Egyptian and Kuwaiti bodies, the Trade and Industry Ministry said in a statement.
Kabil asserted the deeply-rooted Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations, which are an example to follow in the relations among the Arab countries in various fields.
Egypt opens its door to investors from all Arab countries, he said.
He noted that the Egyptian resort city of Sharm el Sheikh will host in December a joint business forum, which aims at boosting the trade and investments between the two sides.
